Big Punisher Album Features Fat Joe And Others

(3/5/00, 10 a.m. ET) - The forthcoming posthumous album from Big Punisher, Yeeeah Baby, features collaborations with a number of high-profile hip-hop stars. Drag-On and mentor Fat Joe appear on "You Was Wrong," while M.O.P. guests on "New York Giants." Big Pun, as he was also known, died Feb. 7 of heart failure; he was 28. The Bronx rapper was nominated in the best rap album category at the 1999 Grammys for his debut album, Capital Punishment, and he was the first solo Latino rapper ever to have a platinum album. Big Pun was a member of the rap group Terror Squad and had collaborated with Jennifer Lopez, Noreaga, D.I.T.C., and others.
