Chris LeDoux Making Speedy Recovery

(8/21/00, 5 p.m. ET) - Chris LeDoux is making a speedy recovery after being hospitalized for treatment of a liver problem (LAUNCH, 8/16). Doctors predicted that it might take a week or longer for the effects of his medication to kick in, but the singer's wife said he was feeling much better within three days. He is currently at home continuing to rest and recuperate. Representatives for LeDoux have no information on when he plans to return to his touring schedule.

In other LeDoux news, he and pal Garth Brooks recently had a reunion in Oklahoma. Apparently, Brooks heard that LeDoux was scheduled to play a show near Tulsa, so he decided to try and catch up with him. He phoned LeDoux and invited him to go out for a bite to eat. The two jumped in Brooks's truck together and headed out for burgers before the show. Brooks dropped him back at the venue in time for sound check that evening. Brooks and his family recently relocated near Tulsa.
