(11/15/99, 12 p.m. ET) - The new album by Tracy Bonham, Trail Of A Dust Devil, her first since 1996's The Burdens Of Being Upright, is due this spring. The first single from the album will be "Behind Every Good Woman (Lies A Trail Of Men)." Bonham continues the rough vocals she established on Burdens and has kept her edge as an unorthodox songwriter, especially with the guitar. Bonham originally started out on the violin and piano. She tells LAUNCH that she found playing the guitar very strange. "It was kind of a weird switch. I don't feel like I've mastered it by any means. The guitar is still an unknown to me. I kind of enjoy it that way because I experiment more." Bonham continued her experimentation on Trail Of A Dust Devil, which features the songs "Freed," "Behind Every Good Woman (Is A Trail Of Men)," "You Don't Know Me," "Fake It," "Cold Day In Hell," "Jumping Bean," "Oasis Hotel," "Second Wind," "Thumbelina," "Meathook," "Can't Always Not Get What You Don't Want," and "Give Us Something To Feel." -- Darren Davis, New York Got news tips, comments, or questions?
